I did a thing

Made it home and I’m feeling all reflective so I’ll share some media!

I managed to travel from Alaska to Colombia on the bike with around 17000km cycling over 11 months. It’s been an epic one and i’m extremely thankful that I managed to pull it off somehow!

I ended the trip last week as planned. After returning home from the year travelling I’m going to share a few parts of the journey retrospectively over the following weeks. I’ve stacks of photos so it’s mostly about putting them somewhere other than my icloud but there’s a few words to add to them to tell a bit of a story.

I’m usually more impressed by what other people are achieving out there so in a strange way my own little bike trip doesn’t feel like a big deal to me. However, at times I am a bit proud of this thing I’ve done and it will all be a distant memory soon. I feel like it’s best to celebrate the trip a little bit on the page here each week.
